I feel I am qualified to hold this position as I have already held this role for the past 6 years. During this time I have been elected to the role of Treasurer and currently, President by my peers. I am also the school board liaison to the Whitnall Middle School PTO.
I am a taxpayer and a parent, which means I have the unique ability to understand both sides when it comes to budgeting and the tax burden that can come with it. I have an established knowledge of the district's budget and a great working relationship with the current administration.
The district recently implemented a 5 Year strategic plan and is in the process of implementing a $79.1M referendum. I want to make sure that the Strategic plan stays on a strong path and that the Referendum delivers what was promised.
